I have a grafted cactus on my windowsill and it reminded me of fractals. Many flowers follow the fractal and Fibonacci sequence patterns. Sunflowers are also known to be true to this fact.
I understood the connection between trees and fractals, but I never considered cacti. This is a cool observation. I like the repeating patterns and the bright colors along with all the spikes.
yeah, i think that the more we observe things in nature, the more we realize that they're all following some kind of pattern that took humans a really long time to figure out and name. I wonder how a fractal pattern makes them stronger
I've never thought of the centers of flowers as fractals, but now I can't imaging looking at them any other way. Do you think that roses are fractals too??
