foreign fruit

Ever seen a califlower like this before? I typed in fractals in nature and this was one of the first images it presented. It looks almost alien to actually eat this.

thats awesome though it looks like the images from the stuff angela was showing us but in 3D. but i tdoes make sense the organicness of shapes do have some type of connotation with each other in nature, so its only logical that things as beautiful as this would occur.

Wow I've seen pictures of this online but I never realized that it was a fruit (vegetable?). It's so pretty, I want to eat it.

It looks like some weird small cactus or something I wonder if it naturally grows like that.

When I've seen this image online, I've often seen in referred to as a broccoli or a cauliflower, but if that's a broccoli then I'm Judge Judy. But, I did figure out that it might be a "Romanesco broccoli", related to a cauliflower: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanesco_broccoli

That is so strange/pretty. I wonder if it was genetically manipulated to be shaped like that...? This veggie made me think of those watermelons that were genetically altered in Japan to be cube shaped so that they were easier to ship in boxes.

What?? This is so amazing. Unlike Alyssa, I don't think I want to eat this! ha It absolutely looks like a cactus. And it is amazing that there is a symmetry to it. It is gorgeous! It also reminds of Chia pets!

It's a little scary. I just posted a new blog with this vegetable in it, and I think I would be scared to actually eat it. I guess I'm scared of hurting the roof of my mouth. I wonder why there aren't more vegetables that grow in such cool fractal patterns...
